Beautiful condition – Excellent sound
Up for auction is a Schaub-Lorenz Goldklang 58 (Type 4006), one of the elegant mid-century tube radios produced in West Germany in the late 1950s.
This model is part of the sought-after Goldklang series, known for its warm acoustic character, refined design, and high-quality craftsmanship.
Cosmetic Condition
The radio is in very good and clean cosmetic condition:
• Cabinet with beautiful original varnish and rich wood tones
• No cracks, no structural damage
• Scale glass flawless with clear printing
• Original knobs, pushbuttons, and trim in excellent shape
• Very clean speaker cloth
Overall, this is a beautiful and well-preserved example of the Goldklang series.
Technical Condition
The radio has been carefully cleaned, inspected, and tested.
