1. General
1.1. These promotional terms and conditions (the "Promotional Terms") apply to a promotion (the “Promotion") organised by Catawiki B.V. (“Catawiki”), or one of the companies belonging to its group.
1.2. Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of the Promotional Terms and, to the extent not accepted previously, the Terms of Use (including, for the avoidance of doubt, the Seller and/or Buyer Terms).
2. Participation
2.1. You can take part in the Promotion if you are a registered Catawiki user, are legally allowed to participate, and meet all of the following requirements (the “Eligibility Criteria”):
2.1.1. you have watched a Catawiki Live livestream between 7 September 2026, 00:00 CET and 13 September 2026, 23:59 CET; and
2.1.2. you won an object during an active Catawiki Live livestream between 7 September 2026, 00:00 CET and 13 September 2026, 23:59 CET; and
2.1.3. you paid for the winning object by 14 September 2026, 23:59 CET.
2.1.4. You do not need to pay for the object on the same day that you win it. However, you must complete payment by 14 September 2026 23:59 CET.
2.1.5. You cannot take part in this Promotion if your Catawiki account is blocked or otherwise restricted.
2.1.6. You need to follow our Terms of Use (including the Buyer Terms and Seller Terms). Catawiki may exclude you from the Promotion or decide not to award you a Prize, if we are of the opinion that you did not follow these Promotional Terms or our Terms of Use (including the Buyer Terms and Seller Terms), provided incorrect, incomplete or misleading information, or committed or attempted to commit fraud.
2.2. Participation in the Promotion is free of charge, unless otherwise stated in the announcement of the Promotion (the "Announcement").
3. Means of Play
3.1. Details about the Promotion, including but not limited to, the entry dates, prizes, when users who met the Eligibility Criteria will be contacted, will be listed in the Announcement. Information on Eligibility Criteria will also be presented by the sellers in the relevant Catawiki Live livestreams.
3.2. If anything a seller says during a Catawiki Live livestream differs from these Promotional Terms, these Promotional Terms will prevail.
4. Prizes
4.1. Participants who meet the Eligibility Criteria will receive a €20 voucher for their next Catawiki purchase (the “Prize”). The voucher is valid until 4 October 2026.
4.2. Only one voucher per user account can be awarded during the Promotion, even if the user wins multiple objects during Catawiki Live livestreams during the Promotion period.
4.3. The prizes are not transferable for cash or for another prize.
4.4. Users who met the Eligibility Criteria will receive the voucher after successful payment for their winning object. Eligibility will be checked on a daily basis, and vouchers will be sent on a daily basis. The final vouchers will be sent by 15 September 2026.
4.5. There will be no communication regarding the outcome of the Promotion.
4.6. The use of the voucher prize is subject to Catawiki’s Voucher Terms. The voucher is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other compensation. If the voucher is not redeemed within its validity period, it will lapse automatically without any entitlement to replacement or compensation.
5. Use of personal data
5.1. By participating in the Promotion, the Participant accepts that personal information will be collected and used by Catawiki to carry out the Promotion, in line with the Data Protection & Privacy Notice. In the context of the Promotion, Catawiki will rely upon a legitimate interest to correspond with the winners, as well as to ensure the fulfilment of the prize can be arranged.
5.2. If the winner(s) object(s) to the processing of their personal data for this purpose, they may opt-out of the Promotion by sending a message via the Contact form. As a consequence, this could mean the prize can not be fulfilled.
6. Liability
6.1. Catawiki[, their partners, and the third parties they have brought in] are not liable for any damage, direct and/or indirect, that results from or is in any way connected with the Promotion, including but not limited to:
a) any additional expenses that the winners may incur in connection with the acceptance and use of the prizes;
b) damage in relation to the prizes awarded or the use thereof;
c) the completeness and correctness of the information displayed or provided by Catawiki;
d) computer and/or internet outages;
e) the result of incorrect information or contact details that were provided by the participant;
f) damage in connection with changes to or termination of the Promotion.
6.2. Catawiki makes no guarantees regarding the prizes that will be awarded.
7. Miscellaneous
7.1. Catawiki is entitled, at their discretion and without prior notice, to change the Promotion and/or the Promotional Terms during the Promotional period or to stop the Promotion without giving any reason. Changes to the Promotion and/or the Promotional Terms, as well as the termination of the Promotion, will be publicised by Catawiki on the appropriate website.
7.2. Cases which are not covered in these Promotional Terms shall be decided by the Catawiki.
7.3. Should one or more of the provisions in these Promotional Terms become invalid or unenforceable, Catawiki will determine a replacement provision that comes as close as possible to the purpose and purport of the invalid or unenforceable provision.
7.4. Complaints regarding this promotion can be addressed via this Contact form within ten days after the complaint has arisen or could reasonably have been known about, under the subject "Promotional game of chance complaint". Catawiki will handle the complaint and contact the participant about settling said complaint. If the complaint is not settled to the satisfaction of the participant, they have the option of submitting a complaint to the Dutch Gaming Authority with regard to promotional games of chance.
7.5. The Promotion and Promotional Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from the Promotional Terms or the Promotion can only be brought before the competent court in Amsterdam.
