Fine Antique Chinese blue and white porcelain phoenix temple vase with carved wooden cover. The jar is finely painted in underglaze blue with phoenix birds amongst dense flowering foliage and scrolling vines. The decoration is richly executed, with deep cobalt-blue tones and a lively overall composition. The base has a double-circle mark in underglaze blue. Comes with a pierced carved hardwood cover, an old collector's sticker at base. Dating to the Kangxi period, c.1662–1722. Size: Height 33.5 cm x Width 20 cm. Condition: The porcelain jar is in excellent condition, No chips, No hairline cracks, No restorations, with only minor firing imperfections and age-related surface wear.
