A decorative group of three Chinese ceramic objects. The two baluster vases are decorated in polychrome enamels with mounted warriors, attendants and banners on a cream crackle-glazed ground. The larger vase bears an apocryphal four-character Chenghua mark to the base. The turquoise-glazed guardian lion / Foo dog is modelled seated on a pierced rectangular pedestal and bears the impressed number “640” underneath. Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.
