A large antique Japanese blue and white Kyoto porcelain figure of Jittoku on wooden stand.
The smiling figure is modelled with long flowing hair and a broom held beside him. His robes are decorated in underglaze blue with circular reserves containing floral, landscape and auspicious motifs.
Signed Kachūtei Dōhachi.
Presented on a fitted carved wooden stand.
Dating to late 19th century, Meiji Period.

Figure: Height 23cm × Width 14.3cm × Depth 8.5cm
Condition:
In excellent overall condition. There is a glaze line to the right sleeve and a small nick to the tip of one finger on the left hand. The wooden stand is in excellent condition. Please examine the photographs carefully.
