Here we go with two pieces of history of winemaking in Italy.
Livio Felluga with his Terre Alte and the Pinot Grigio 2005 "Special Edition" with a great fill level, almost perfect; these wine are really outstanding and very inclined to give emotions.
After Nino Negri which is a pioneer of Nebbiolo in Lombardy. His sfursat remember the Amarone where the grapes a picked when overripe, powerful and intense. Also not very common to find a bottle of this vintage in such a great conditions.
TERRE ALTE 2002
Terre Alte was born in 1981 and is to be considered one of the most prestigious Italian white wines. The harmonious blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon grapes, grown in Rosazzo in the historic vineyards of the Terre Alte, creates an elegant and rich wine, with intense fruity and floral aromas.
It is a wine of great structure and with aging it acquires a tertiary evolution of considerable complexity.
PINOT GRIGIO 2005 ETICHETTA CELEBRATIVA N. 1752 DI 1956
This famous vine derives from a bud mutation of Pinot Noir and finds its ideal habitat in the hills. The Livio Felluga vinification gives the wine finesse and elegance.
It is certainly the best known Friulian wine in the world.
1956 Livio Felluga chooses the heart of a beautiful land. As a sign of gratitude, he dedicates him the label of the wines he produces for the world.
2006 Livio Felluga celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Map Label with a special issue.
Same land, same label.
Today Nino Negri represents the Valtellinese winemaking reality that best reconciles tradition and technology. To achieve great results it is necessary to always work with the utmost commitment and continually invest in the cellar and in the vineyards.
SASSELLA RISERVA 1971
The historic and perhaps most famous sub-area of Valtellina Superiore extends between the Municipality of Castione Andevenno and the territory west of Sondrio, the provincial capital (114 hectares). An impervious and sunny area, whose name probably derives from that of the Marian sanctuary of the same name which stands on the spectacular cliff of Sassella.
Among the most suitable vineyards of the famous Valtellina area, the healthiest and most mature grapes were collected and left to dry for about three months. The dried grapes were then crushed and vinified with the traditional method by making a long maceration. The wine has aged, according to tradition
