2 almost identical standing angels, who probably served as columns on an altar. Polychrome remnants and professionally treated woodworms. According to the restorer, both angels date to the 15th or 16th century (see last picture) and were professionally restored in 2012 for €500.
The charm lies in their imperfections, and the traces of the years are clearly visible - also on the wooden base, from the restorer.
Origin: probably Southern Europe. Acquired in trade in Antwerp in 2010.
