Holy water stoup from a 17th-century Baroque church.
This stoup was once encased in the walls of an old church in the Lecce area of Salento (Italy).
After the church was deconsecrated and fell into disrepair, this stoup remained in a private collection for years.
Made from heavy Lecce stone, it is oval in shape with concentric decorations.
Dimensions: length 40 cm x width 28 cm.
