This is a very rare, 23 cm long and 16 cm wide (without matrix) monster Asaphellus trilobite from the Ordovician deposits (Fesouata formation) near Zagora, Morocco.
The red colour comes from oxidised iron pyrite, which has originally preserved the trilobite.
There are a few repaired cracks (see photos) that run through the rock and the fossil, which is normal for such specimens.
The item will be carefully packed and shipped insured with tracking number.
