History of Queen's Ware Ceramic:
In 1765 Wedgwood produced a unique type of very hard-wearing ceramic, in easy-to-use shapes, characterised by the cream colour. This ceramic, called creamware, was particularly appreciated by Queen Charlotte, who honoured it with her patronage. The ceramic changed its name to Queen's Ware.
