Rare small size, only 85 cm high.
This is a Utrecht bar cupboard, but this can also have been made in Holland - the counters were
then not only reserved for the province of Utrecht.
Nice quarter sawn oak. With a nice patina.
This box used to have an upper part.
Four legs supported another plateau.
On the four corners you can see small pieces of wood deployed where the legs were.
See the detail photo of the hinge - these long tapering hinges are typical of 17th century cabinets.
The back is also made of oak. The shelf inside is not original.
