1st edition of Belli's treatise on surveying, which enabled the reader to estimate distances fairly accurately. He was a teacher of mathematics in Vicenza, where he had worked with Palladio, and he later became an architect.
The book is divided in 3 parts and full of woodcuts. Contents is well illustrated with well over 50 half page woodcuts in strong impression.

Some pages as from photo with small restoration on top due to burning as well as in page 1. Some staining at the 1st 8 pages on top edge,otherwise the book hold nicely, fresh and crisp.
Vellum a bit soiled as usual.
