Lot consisting of three Art Deco style candlesticks and two brass and bronze ones, late 1800s / early 1900s.
The three 3-arm candlesticks are in Art Deco style and date back from the early 1900s; they all feature engravings both on the base, on the drip pans and the candle holders.
It is rare to find three pieces like these and in good condition despite their age.
Thanks to their size they can be used to decorate a dinner table while still allowing conversation. They measure: height 16, depth 9 cm and length 21.
Truly beautiful and unique items. They have linear shapes featuring a circular base on which a circle stands, the central candle holder is screwed on top of the circle and the two arms with the other two candle holders extend from it. They are in good condition and, thanks to their sober shapes, they are easy to use, even in modern homes. They are in brass and hand-engraved. Each weighs 315 grams.
Beautiful on a dinner table, alternating with flowers, or on a fireplace. These candlesticks were made for a family chapel, which is why they are so short. Which characterizes their value and uniqueness.
The two brass and bronze candlesticks are a very rare pair due to their size.
Their 10 cm wide base is extensively decorated with a central flower, open flower petals and an external 7-tip crown.
The 8 cm high straight column of the candlestick extends from the base and splits into two 14 cm high side arms, richly decorated with dragons. The candle holders can be unscrewed as well as the drip pans. Each candlestick weighs 720 grams.
Dimensions: 22 x 16 x 16 cm. They are detailed and beautiful to use on a table or fireplace.
