Outstanding pair of Swedish or Russian neoclassical ormolu mounted white marble and clear cut crystal two-light girandoles, dating to the 19th century. Each girandole features a marble stem issuing two curved ormolu candle branches flanked and separated by curved arms draped in clear cut glass, the centre crystal spire issuing one tier of slender sprays hung with faceted cut glass pear shaped pendants, surmounted with a floral motif finial. Each girandole is raised on a square Carrara marble base.
Due to their high led content, once the sunlight / light hits the girandoles, the crystal drops reflect the colours of the rainbow throughout the room (we have tried to capture this in the pictures).
51 cm x 28.5 cm wide x 16 cm deep
Overall in good condition with no crystals missing.
