Very large carving cutlery with decorated (gravé) silver handles.
Length knife: 42 cm.
Length fork: 30 cm.
Weight: 427 grams
Markings: Dutch sword 1813-1906 and maker's mark BRC with above a type of fish.
This maker's mark is from Barend Roelof Citroen, who worked in Amsterdam from 1841 to 1864.
The Citroen family has known several goldsmiths and shops and was famous for its quality work.
The knife and fork stem are of steel and original, the knife marked with Johnson.
The fork also has a pin at the bottom with which the fork can be secured, as it should be with carving cutlery
