This work of art was created at the famous Goldscheider porcelain manufactory and majolica factory, which was founded in 1885 by Frédéric Goldscheider (1845 – 1897) in Vienna. Goldscheider made works of art for (famous) artists in various materials, such as terracotta, bronze and marble, from the end of the 19th century until the First World War.
