A very fine Parthian terracotta medallion with the depiction of a female bust. Anatomical details are delicately rendered, she is wearing a headpiece and displays a light, enigmatic smile. A frame of decoration runs along the rim and the reverse is flat and unmodeled. The piece comes with an original note from W. G. Professor Lambert.
