2 bottles of 1970 Prado Enea by Muga Rioja Reserva. One bottle has like new fill level with the other giving more of its share to the angels likely due to the wax capsules and quality storage conditions for so many years. Each grape variety is vinified separately. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in 18,000-litre wooden vats, after which it is racked into other clean vats. During racking, a bunch of dry stems are held in front of the tap to act as a filter. It remains for 12 months in vats and horizontal tanks where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and rests before being racked. Aged for 48 months in 395 used 225-litre American oak barrels with an average age of 12 years, many of them made by the winery's own cooperage. Production of 118,056 bottles. A minimum of 24 months of aging in a bottle rack before being marketed. These bottles were purchased and kept in a underground cellar laying down since purchased.
