Antique silver-plated Solingen cutlery set in canteen box - 136 pieces/12 persons - Alpaca 100 made in Germany in Regènce/ Louis XV style. Beautiful complete set of antique cutlery from Solingen decorated in Regènce style (137 pieces for 12 guests) in its original canteen box with 3 layers. Very high quality of Solingen Alpaca 100 silver-plated cutlery, made in Germany in 2nd half of the 20th century. Heavily silver plated on a base metal of Alpaca (a silvery white copper-zinc-nickel alloy), around 350gr of pure silver were used during the silverplating. Consisting of: - 12 dinner spoons (length 22cm) - 12 dinner knives (length 24,5cm) - 12 dinner forks (length 22cm) - 12 starter/lunch spoons - 12 starter/lunch knives - 12 starter/lunch forks - 12 fish knives - 12 fish forks - 12 dessert spoons (length 14,6cm) - 12 pastry forks - 16 pieces of serving cutlery The cutlery is in excellent condition with minor signs of use. Some sporadic (polishable) oxidation of the silver. All knives have Solingen mark. All other parts are marked on the back with ALPACA SILBER 100. Total weight of the box: 14kg.
