In 1988, he was awarded the First State Prize for Criticism/Essay, which he famously declined, and in 2001 he received the Ouranis Foundation Prize for his life’s work. A rare signed set by one of Greece’s most influential literary figures — featuring both an original work and his celebrated translation of Ezra Pound’s Cathay. A highly collectible pair for admirers of modern Greek literature and poetry.
