Writing in dark brown and red ink, a three-line decorative initial in colours and burnished gold was cut out, you can only see rest of burnished gold and the coloured border, in former times a splendid illumination. Probably cut out an historiated intial in the 19th century or earlier, when it was fashion to do that.
