This is a 1971 First Edition Thus copy, of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord Of The Rings". The stories were first released as a single volume with illustrated dust jacket, in 1959. The dust jacket features classic illustrations by Pauline Baynes and the original Lord Of The Rings type-set, making it very desirable to LOTR collectors.
