Rare collectable antique Minton Staffordshire Parian Pitcher.
It features 7 high relief Cherubs, on English Ivy, with a ribbed background. The markings on the bottom with number 228 and diamond mark of Minton telling the production year is 1866.
Measurements:
the height 20 cm
the width 10 cm
Parian Ware is a marble-like unglazed porcelain body developed and used most successfully for sculptural pieces.
CONDITION: Has a soft nick on the bottom as seen in the photo.
Great for 150 years old item.
