Four-panel symbolic design: Dragon / Phoenix / Lotus • One side features a dynamic dragon (ryū) in high relief • One side features an elegant phoenix (hōō) • Two sides feature refined lotus (renge) motifs This combination of dragon (power), phoenix (harmony), and lotus (purity & rebirth) forms a highly auspicious and desirable arrangement in Japanese decorative arts. The lid is topped with a powerful shishi (lion-dog) finial, completing its dignified presence.
