The specimen displays a dense, complex network of thick dark grey to black Rutile (TiO₂) needles and plates arranged in a highly geometric lattice pattern within pale creamy-yellow Quartz — forming a characteristic "architectural" or "scaffold" structure of intersecting rectangles, right angles and parallel lines. This distinctive sagenitic lattice habit, where rutile crystals grew along crystallographic axes of the host quartz, is one of the most visually dramatic inclusion types known in mineralogy. The rutile inclusions show a metallic grey-black color with warm reddish-brown reflections in raking light, contrasting beautifully against the semi-transparent quartz body.
