Each grape variety and vineyard parcel was vinified separately. Following fermentation and maceration, malolactic fermentation took place mainly in oak barrels — 70% new and 30% second-use. The wine was then aged for approximately 18 months in barrel, followed by a further 12 months in bottle before release.
