Matrixless Plesiosaur tooth.
Zarafasaurus oceanis was the only elasmosaurid present in northern Africa. These marine predators could reach a length of about seven meters, and lived during the Upper Cretaceous (latest Maastrichtian stage).
The fossil here offered is originary from the Khouribga province in Morocco.
