Jali panel fragment representing Nandi, Shiva’s vahana, the white bull she rides.
This fragment can be dated to the second half of the 19th century because the material is a mixture of pink sandstone powder, straw and cement which was invented by L. Vicat and appeared in India circa 1860.
DIMENSIONS INCLUDING STAND: 39 x 10 x 15 cm.
Fragment as is, with a visible missing pieces so not in perfect condition.
