Antique 12K Gold Garnet & Natural Pearl Necklace with Handshake Fede Clasp

Description
A rare and beautifully preserved antique 12K gold necklace featuring a symbolic handshake (“Fede”) clasp, ornate sculpted links, and a central repoussé pendant set with deep-red rose-cut garnets (approx. 0.36 ct total) arranged around natural seed pearls. A dangling gold drop completes the piece (one drop missing). An elegant example of late 19th-century Continental craftsmanship with symbolic meaning and high decorative appeal.
