At the center sits a raised cushion-cut diamond framed by a halo of sixteen Old European-cut diamonds, each set into individually carved cups that create exceptional light return characteristic of pre-1900 craftsmanship. Suspended below is a sparkling articulated pear-shaped diamond drop that adds graceful movement and elegance. This jewel can be worn both as a pendant and a brooch, thanks to its original period dual mechanism. Rich in detail, movement, and sparkle, it is a superb example of 19th-century goldsmithing and a wearable piece of antique art.
