This is an elegant 4-piece collection of vintage Japanese lacquerware boxes, each decorated with traditional motifs such as gold maki-e fans, cranes, chrysanthemums, and landscape scenes.
All items originate from Japan and were produced between 1975–1995, during the late Showa to early Heisei period.
A rare opportunity to acquire a curated set of authentic Japanese lacquerware, ideal for collectors, interior décor, tea ceremony enthusiasts, and lovers of traditional craftsmanship.

Beautiful hand-decorated multi-fan motif
Vibrant red lacquer interior

2) Chrysanthemum Relief Box (Gold / Amber Tone)

Classic maki-e style floral & moon design

Minimalist crane & turtle crest motif

Craftsmanship
All four items feature techniques typical of Japanese lacquerware production of the period:
Urushi-style lacquer (synthetic lacquer over resin base)
Hand-applied gold maki-e patterns
Red lacquer interiors on jubako
These pieces capture the aesthetics of Japanese celebration ware, traditionally used for New Year foods, tea ceremony accessories, and festive occasions.
