A lovely antique Japanese porcelain lidded bowl with a central decoration of three persons on a boat near cliffs (possibly the story of the red cliff) in a mountainous landscape with coloring on the other side, executed in a strong underglaze blue. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical patterns. Handcrafted in ancient Japan during the Meiji period (ca. 1900). Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Diameter: 10,9 centimeter.
Condition: The object is in very good condition, only some baking flaws in the glaze, without any damages or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
