Kawarazaki-za (河 原 崎 座) was one of the most important kabuki theatres in Edo (present Tokyo) during the Edo period and in the Meiji period. It was founded in 1656 and was managed by members of the Kawarazaki actor family until 1875.
Good condition - traces of binding holes on the right - small spot of wear bottom left.
