Handwritten letter signed by Maria Cristina of Bourbon-Naples, in which she writes to marquise friend of hers, saying that she received her letters from the end of the carnival period, when they still did not know about the troubles and pains they would have to face shortly. She says she can only imagine the anxieties she will most likely have suffered and hopes that her health has not been affected. She talks about the weather, which is mediocre, and tells her friend that she is waiting for her granddaughter. Finally, she asks her to send her regards to her relatives and then takes her leave.
