A large and extremely rare Murano blown glass vase designed by master Dario Fagiolo for “I Lirici” in the 1990s.
“I Lirici” was a glass brand active in Venice from 1992 to 2001, founded by designers Luigi Straffi and Dario Fagiolo.
Medea is the inspiration for this hourglass-shaped vase, in spiral-decorated blown glass with the gold and silver leaf inclusion, and two sides "wings" made of solid glass with black and white glass casting. One wing features the engraved inscription “I Lirici P.A. 93" on the bottom.
Height 39 cm, maximum width 23 cm, maximum depth 13 cmCondition: as good as new.
Protective non-skid rubber feet have been added to the bottom.
