Gorgeous and Antique Indian Tea set in 925 sterling silver
consisting of a teapot, a sugar bowl and a milk jug.

Swami workmanship from the Anglo colonial period.
Madras or Bangalore, early 20th century (1900-1910)

Typical decoration with the representation of the Hindi deities on their respective symbolic animals.

Dimensions: 18 cm from handle to beak - height 17 cm - diameter 11 cm

The beak of the teapot, moreover, is beautifully engraved with floral decorations and peacocks.
Lid with divine figure riding an elephant.
Handle engraved in detail.

Sugar bowl 195 g.
Dimensions: 13.5 cm from handle to handle - height 8.5 cm - diameter 9.5 cm
Handles engraved in detail as the teapot and with alike decorations.

Milk jug 136 g.
Dimensions: 10 cm from handle to beak - height 8.5 cm - diameter 7 cm
Handle engraved in detail as the teapot and sugar bowl, and alike decorations.


Difficult to find a 3-piece tea set complete with the same processing and not just matching.

The set is also very well preserved for its age, with few signs of time (on a lower edge of the teapot) but also very excellent for processing and finishing.
