A “Glasshouse” steam locomotive in black livery with running number 98 311 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn.
Suitable for use in both analogue and digital modes, and on both AC and DC circuits. For use with direct current, a special electronic circuit-board must be used - this is included.
This locomotive traverses curves with a radius of at least 600mm. It is suitable for use on two-rail tracks with a gauge of 45 mm.
Equipped with a smoke generator.
The locomotive has 2-point signal-lighting at either end.
A heavy model almost entirely made out of metal.
The length between the buffers is: 22.2 cm.
Includes the manual (Has a minor tear), original box, figure, an ampule of smoke-liquid and an electronic circuit-board.
Year of manufacture 1998
The model is in excellent condition. Has hardly ever been run - please see the condition of the clean wheels and the pick-up shoe. However, there are some details worth mentioning. The bell on the roof also serves as a screw and has some minor damage. The windows of the cab have been renewed. From the outside you can't see any of this, but when one opens the model it is visible. Finally, it should be mentioned that two of the buffers have been repaired and that glue residues can still be seen on the attached photos. These buffers are brittle and fragile - this is a well known problem - but are easy to replace if damaged.
Please see the photos for an accurate impression of this lot, they are an integral part of the description thereof.
Obviously the locomotive has been tested and runs faultlessly. Runs neatly and quietly and changes direction of travel smoothly. Lighting and smoke generator work as is to be expected. It is currently set to alternating current and digital mode with the address set on: 78.
