This exquisite Amida Buddha statue, hailing from the Meiji period, is a treasure of spiritual artistry. Carefully hand-carved and adorned with gold lacquer paint, the Buddha stands within an elegantly aged altar cabinet, a revered symbol of Pure Land Buddhism's promise of rebirth in the Western Paradise. The delicate craftsmanship is evident in the ornate halo and the layers of the lotus throne, displaying the finesse of historical Japanese art.
