Zum Verkauf steht eine wunderschöne und seltene, römische Bronzestatue eines thrakischen Reiters in schöner Erhaltung, aus der Antike.


Alter: zw. 100 Jahre n. Chr. - 200 Jahre n. Chr.
Größe: Höhe mit Stand 6,9 cm (Höhe ohne Stand 5,3 cm) und Länge 5,1 cm. Gewicht des Reiters mit Pferd ca. 36 g.

Die antike römische Bronzestatue eines thrakischen Reiters, datiert zwischen dem 1. und 2. Jahrhundert n. Chr., ist ein faszinierendes Kunstwerk von einzigartiger Schönheit und historischem Wert. For sale is a beautiful and rare Roman bronze statue of a Thracian rider in beautiful condition from antiquity.

The ancient Roman bronze statue of a Thracian rider, dated between the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, is a fascinating work of art of unique beauty and historical value. Despite its age, this statue is in remarkably good condition with signs of weathering.

The bronze statue shows a Thracian horse with a rider in a typical pose. The horse's right front leg is bent at 90° while the rider's right arm is extended upward, giving the scene a dynamic grace. Both the rider and horse are crafted with great care and attention to detail, with every aspect of the figures designed with extreme precision.

The surface of the statue is covered in a beautiful light green-turquoise-gray patina, giving the artifact an authentic and charming character. This found patina, which has formed over time, contributes to the historical authenticity of the statue and makes it a fascinating testament to Roman artistry.
