The Rolex Cosmograph ref. 16519 is a particular white gold variant of the Daytona chronograph introduced in 1997 and only available with a leather strap and folding clasp.

This Daytona is in white gold with a beautiful white dial with arabic numbers, to add that touch of peculiarity that only few watches can give.

As already happened in the past, the caliber used is not manufactured but is the result of the profound reworking of one of the best commercial chronograph movements, in this case the cal. 400 Zenith. Screw buttons and Triplock crown allow water resistance up to 100m / 330ft.

A bit of its story:
Introduced in 1961, it was equipped with the characteristic Oyster case, distinguished by a screw-down case back and crown and pump pushers. The name is due to the fact that Rolex sponsored the 24 Hours of Daytona at the time.

This specific reference 16519 remained in production until 2000.
