The stamps are in varying conditions, with some mint and others used, providing a comprehensive overview of the region's postal issues, please refer to the pictures. 1884年3月澳門第一組九枚“皇冠”郵票發行以來，其高面值票應用不多，難以配合實際所需，三年期間已多次高面値郵票加蓋改低面值郵票應用，甚至用稅票改值等。至1887年11月初“路易士”郵票從葡國運到，數天後立即發售。1892年8月間，因需用2½厘士郵資供寄報紙郵資用，將40及80厘士在澳門本地加蓋改值，同時由里斯本運到用“路易士”頭像10厘士郵票加蓋改値2½厘士。同年，澳門郵局發行明信片，亦曾貼用10厘士郵票及貼上200厘士郵票後加蓋改値30厘士，直至2½厘士正式報紙郵票由里斯本印製運澳止。 1894年澳門貨幣改革由厘士（Reis）改為仙（Avo），澳門在本地加蓋改值一組“路易士”頭像郵票，鈐”臨時”（PROVISORIO）字樣，同時加上中文面値，共發行十種，另外一枚10厘士加蓋改值2 Avos 是在官版加蓋但非正式發行。同年，澳門郵局用貼上200厘士郵票改 30 厘士之明信片再加蓋改値5 Avos 及“臨時””PROVISORIO”字樣出售。1902年再用“路易士”頭像郵票加蓋改值 6 Avos 三種及 18 Avos 六種共九枚· 1913年再加蓋”共和”（REPUBLICA）時再用6 Avos 及 18 Avos各三種，均在本地加蓋，另外只有一種10厘士改6 Avos”共和“（REPUBLICA）由里斯本加蓋。
