This fluorite from Yindu is especially striking when backlit, as the internal color zoning becomes vivid and dramatic. The crystals are predominantly cubic, with sharp, well-defined edges, and they show a palette ranging from deep violet and indigo at the outer edges to warm golden-orange tones glowing from the core. The translucency of the fluorite allows the light to penetrate and reveal a fiery depth, almost as if the specimen were lit from within. The transition between purple and amber hues is gradual in some areas and sharply contrasted in others, producing a dynamic interplay of colors that is characteristic of fluorite from this locality.
