Large romanticist nude work was created in 1859 by an Italian painter from the cycle and in the style of famous Russian painter of Italian origin Andrei Belloli (1822 Rome - 1881 St. Petersburg). It signed illegible.

Literature: artist lexicons by Thieme/Becker (in German), 1999,Leipzig; In Russian: Solovjev V.D. " Russian Artists of 18-20th centuries", 2005; Kondakoff " Jub.Hand book of St.Petersburg Academy 1764-1914", cataloque of Province State Art Museum in Nizhny Novgorod.
Inscription: signed illegibly Boga or Borja and dated 1859, lower in the middle.
Technique: oil on canvas. Original period gilt frame.
Measurements: unframed w 37 1/3" x h 49 1/4" (95 x 125 cm ); framed w 42 1/8" x h 53 1/2" ( 107 x 136 cm).
Condition: in good condition, original canvas.
