Hashimoto Eiho - Bol à thé - Céramique, Glacis, Or

Kyo-ware Tea Bowl "Kenzan Style Fans" 乾山写団扇文(けんざんうつしうちわもん) – Hashimoto Eiho 橋本永豊(はしもとえいほう) This is an exquisite Kyo-ware (Kyoto-style) tea bowl created by Hashimoto Eiho, a potter renowned for his mastery of traditional techniques. It is a respectful homage to the Edo-period master Ogata Kenzan (1663–1743), faithfully reproducing the elegance and colorful aesthetics characteristic of the Rimpa school. The uchiwa (fan) motif evokes a refreshing sense of coolness associated with Japanese summers, enhanced by the use of overglaze enamels and refined gold accents. The bowl is a “Hira-chawan” (summer flat tea bowl), designed with a wide and shallow form to increase the surface area, allowing the tea to cool more quickly — a thoughtful feature suited for use during the warm season. --- Artist Profile Hashimoto Eiho (1969– ) • Born in 1969. • Graduated from Doshisha University in 1997. • Known for exceptional craftsmanship in Kyo-yaki, faithfully recreating the luxurious styles of Nonomura Ninsei and Ogata Kenzan. --- Accessories • Tomobako (original wooden box signed by the artist) --- Dimensions & Weight Height: 6 cm Diameter: 14 cm Weight: 618 g (total with box) --- Technique & Condition Technique: Pottery, overglaze enamels, gilding Estimated period: 2000–2010 Condition: Good condition.
