Receipt vs. invoice

Can I, as a buyer, request an invoice for my purchase?
The receipt for your purchase will always be available to you for viewing and downloading on our website or app. If you would like an invoice for your purchase, please use the Catawiki messaging service to request the invoice from the seller. This is available once your payment has been processed and is available for 60 days after an auction has closed.

Can I, as a buyer, receive a commission invoice in the name of my company?
No, at this stage, Catawiki is unfortunately unable to create a professional account for buyers. We are reviewing this and will let our users know once we are able to allow buyers to register with their business details.

Can I, as a buyer, receive an invoice for my purchase in the name of my company?
As a buyer, you will have to request an invoice from the seller of your lot by using the Catawiki messaging service. This is available to you once your payment has been received and is available for 60 days after the auction has closed. Currently, as buyers are unable to register on Catawiki with their business details, sellers are unable to verify the business details of a buyer on our platform. Therefore, if a seller doubts the validity of your business details, they are free to refuse to provide you with an invoice in the name of your business.

If you, as a buyer, would like to receive a separate invoice specifying the amount of VAT or similar indirect taxes charged by the seller, you will have to request an invoice directly from the seller. You can communicate with the seller through the Catawiki messaging system that is available after your payment has been received and is available for 60 days after the auction has closed.
