Wiskemann is the most exclusive Belgian manufacturer of silver-plated items. Otto-Leonard Wiskemann comes from a noble German family of goldsmiths and jewelers. His career began with an internship at Christofle. After this internship, he was able to further improve Christofle's process, and he moved to Brussels in 1872. The company was then continued by Otto and Albin Wiskemann, then by Bruno Wiskemann.
Bruno Wiskemann was a renowned goldsmith with shops in Belgium and Switzerland, highly respected and often copied by other goldsmiths. His work is rarely seen and highly sought after.
