Heavily illustrated throughout with wood engraved emblems. Starting page 289 there is a second part depicting ancient coins. Some rubbing, bumping, and wear to the boards and spine. Ex Libris sticker in the front pastedown endpaper. Pencil markings and pen inscription on the front flyleaves, and pen and pencil markings on the back flyleaf. The text and illustrations are clear, and the binding is solid. Overall, a handsome copy in very good condition.
