Una teiera cinese in famille rose 'Lady on qilin' con coperchio. - Porcellana - Cina - Dinastia Qing (大清), segno e periodo Tongzhi, XIX secolo.
A Chinese Famille Rose ‘Lady on Qilin' tea pot with it’s cover. China, 19th century, late Qing dynasty, Tonghzi (1861-1875, 同治) period. Excellent condition!
Potted in compressed from, with straight walls, S-shaped spout and rectangular handle. Finely decorated to the exterior with a lady riding Qilin and three boys (one with umbrella, two with banners) on one side; on other side lady sitting next to the desk and four boys. Cover with lady on Qilin and boys; peach-shaped finial. Inscribed to the base with iron red four-character Tongzhi seal-mark and from the period. Teapot and cover with maker's marks: III to the rim, what means both were manufactured as a set.
Daylight pictures included.
Dimensions: height with cover - 8,5 cm; length (with spout and ear) - 13,4 cm; diameter - 8,2 cm. Weight - 224 g.
Provenance: private collection, Paris, France.
Conditions report: perfect, no damages, even painted decor in excellent condition. Strong white light tested. Check pictures for details.
