Set of 4 “Nätön” chairs / lounge chairs designed by renowned Swedish designer Mats Theselius for the exclusive IKEA PS collection in the late 1990s and early 2000s. These pieces are considered one of the most iconic and experimental collaborations in IKEA’s design history and are now regarded as collectible Scandinavian design objects. Made of woven rattan and bamboo with brushed steel/aluminum structural details, they stand out for their postmodern aesthetic and the combination of natural craftsmanship with visible industrial construction, a signature element of Mats Theselius’ work. Sculptural, lightweight and sophisticated design, strongly associated with editorial interiors, warm brutalism and high-end hospitality spaces. Discontinued production and increasingly difficult to find as a complete set of four. Approximate dimensions per chair: 74–75 cm height, 56–60 cm width, 60–68 cm depth, seat height 38–41 cm. Showing age-appropriate wear and vintage patina consistent with use and age.
