Unlike ammonites, Cymatoceras possessed large and spacious chambers separated by relatively simple septa, creating a striking internal geometry. In this specimen, many of these chambers are naturally lined with sparkling druzy crystals, producing a remarkable contrast with the polished mineralized shell. The specimen displays a beautiful palette of warm ochre, caramel, cream, and honey tones, highlighted by the high-quality polishing. The central whorls remain exceptionally well preserved, while the larger outer chambers reveal impressive natural crystal formations and open cavities, giving the piece extraordinary visual depth. The reverse side preserves portions of the original shell surface and natural mineralization, adding further scientific and aesthetic interest.
